데이지 정원 속의 키지 (Kizzy in Daisy Garden)

이 설치 작품은 시간의 흐름 속에서도 마모되지 않는
순수함을 포착하여 ‘머무는 형식’으로 기록한 정원이다.
정원의 중심, 위태로운 경계 위에 선 키지(Kizzy)는
악마의 뿔과 천사의 링, 날개를 동시에 지닌 채
늘 선과 악의 선택 앞에서 흔들리던
인간 존재의 본질적인 이중성과 본인을 대변하는 페르소나이다.
그러나 이 이중성은 혼돈에 머물지 않고,
변하지 않는 절대적인 선(善)의 진리를 마주하며 명확한 지향점을 찾는다.
키지를 빽빽하게 둘러싼 데이지꽃들의 포용은
어떠한 규정이나 편견 없이 존재 그 자체를 수용하는 근원적인 사랑과 질서를 상징한다.
흔들리던 자아가 이 무구한 공간 속에서 마침내 본질적인 선을 쫓아야 한다는 깨달음을 얻고
순수함을 회복해가는 과정은, 인위적인 구분을 넘어선 보편적 진리에 대한 실존적 사유를 이끌어낸다.

This installation is a garden
that captures an unwavering innocence amidst the passage of time, recorded as a 'lingering form.'
Standing at its center, on a precarious boundary, Kizzy,
possessing both demonic horns and an angelic halo
and wings, is a persona representing the essential duality of human existence
and the artist’s own self, ever-swaying before the choices between good and evil.
However, this duality does not remain in chaos
but finds a clear orientation upon encountering the absolute truth of goodness (善).
The embrace of the daisy flowers densely surrounding Kizzy symbolizes a primordial love
and order that accepts existence without prejudice.
The process of a swaying self finally awakening to the necessity of pursuing essential goodness
and restoring original innocence within this pristine space guides viewers to an existential contemplation of universal truth beyond artificial divisions of race, nationality, good, and evil.
